Project: Leap Banner Campaign Client: Leap to Success
Leap to Success provides programs for women survivors of domestic violence, homelessness, and other challenges to empower them and help them provide inspiration for their community. As part of the re-branding launch for Leap to Success, they wanted to tell stories of women rebuilding their lives, moving beyond adversity, and finding empowerment through their programs.
We compiled a list of power words, complementary phrases, and photos, and I massaged these into ten banners introduced at La Jolla Playhouse at a benefit performance of “The Vagina Monologues.” The banners continue to be used for fundraising and community outreach events.

Project: Van Graphics Client: Aldila, Inc.
Moving away from traditional branding in the golf industry, Aldila was trending toward innovative looks. Working from the phrase “The Hottest Shafts in Golf,” and the latest product line “NV” which used a bright green pearl paint, I created this graphic flame element to embellish the “A” from the older Aldila logotype. This flame motif became the inspiration for dozens of product lines still their top sellers many years later. I created this graphic for the back of the Aldila tour van that appeared at all major golf tournaments.
